Ar-pistol needs drop in trigger assembly
Hi, I just got an AR pistol and the trigger is stock and near seven pound pull, throws my shot off. Who sells the best trigger job for the buck? Thanks for your input.

trigger job for an AR pistol? unless you are planning to turn it into an SBR, why bother lightening a 7lb pull on an AR pistol?
check out some of the drop ins like rock river 2 stage or timiny single stage. that way you save on shipping costs.

The best trigger job for the buck is a JP spring change. I put them both on one of my ARs and got light strikes (I primarily use russian Bear ammo though...) so I only use the trigger spring now, not the hammer spring. Just that alone took 3lbs of my M&P trigger. Not bad for $10....

joebobs normally has rock river arms triggers for about $75-ish. put one in my sportical and it pushed it to SUB MOA accuracy. for the record, an AR pistol is not going to have the greatest acuracy in the world, it's heavy, bulky, and hard to stabilize. unless you are shooting from a rest 15 yards is pushing it and a 7 pound trigger isn't TOO horrible for a pistol, it's not good but not horrible either.

The RRA two stage match is the best option.
You can mess with springs all you want but that does not change the sear surfaces. For your gun I would go with the plain RRA. If you want a better feel then the chrome is better still, but cost more ($100 with some shopping) |

I'd also recommend the RRA match trigger. Been using mine for a couple years now, don't know how I got along without it. Stock triggers feel so heavy and gritty after using this.
