Two questions

First: Does anyone know where I can get a full detail strip schematic for a S&W 6906? Mfg only recommends a field strip but I'd like to go further and clean out the dirt & gunk that's in there.

Second: Anyone have any feedback on an optical sight like the C-more for the S&W? My eyes aren't what they used to be. The C-More is 1911 based - any other mfg's of similar OPEN recticule sights? Not interested in projected dot or tube stuff, just the picture window style.

Thanks.

I understand the not so young eyes. Haven't used the C-more, but the DocterOptic works great.

Brownells has a schematic for the 6906

Good Luck...

Docter Sight

Hey Joe, I went through the Docter Site and didn't run accross anything that looked like that shown on your gun. Model Number or name etc.?

Thanks

It's their standard DocterSight, www.docteropticsusa.com , part #55701.

Really makes for a nice setup....
