9.3x64?

Was looking at this russian hunting rifle based on the (KTR's) AK called a Tigr, made by saiga (Izhmash). It was optional in 9.3x64. What does this equate to in ENGLISH? Can I find brass and projectiles to reload it? Any one fire one? Thanks guys.

Closest American cartridge would be the .35 Whelen. 9.3 mm is a .366 bullet rather than a .358, but they are close enough to make 9.3x64 brass from .35 Whelen or .30-06. Bullets are available.
