I reload for my Sig Sauer 716, which is very similar to your LAR 8. You may want to take a look at this:

Its considered "The Bible" for reloading for semi auto service rifle type platforms. So far, I have had no issues, but I've been fairly cautious and followed the info in the link. The only thing that I found with my Sig is that it most definitely has to have small base dies. Cases run through a normal full length sizing die won't chamber reliably.
