I was thinking of loading up some 148 gr HBWC and do some target shooting.

Looking in the Speer manual I have a good idea where to start but how far down should I seat the bullet?

thanks
vic

2.7gr Bullseye under a wadcutter seated flush with case mouth, roll crimp -- worked fine for me for 25 years.

What Texas Lawman said. The standard PPC load has been 2.7 Bullseye for an eternity. Lots of guys have gone to Win 231 too.
