Oxford/lightning Sight?
I recently picked this up at a public sale (not sure why). It is called OXFORD/LIGHTNING ILLUMINATED GUN SIGHT. Made by the OXFORD CORPORATION of BUFFALO, N.Y. The tube on top holds 2 AA batteries, under the red knob is a small lamp, the red button is the on/off switch. It has elevation & windage adjustments. It does not have crosshairs, they call the aiming point a pip. The thing is in excellent condition, the batteries are good but I can't seem to get it to work. Possibly the lamp is bad? Does any one have any info on this item, I can't find anything on line about it, like when was it made are parts still available?

Hope you're still around.
I have some information about the neat little gizmo you picked up. Please reply if you are still around!
