Low power, hand-held monocular telescope

We're "exercising" our handguns at ranges from 7 to 15 yards. Especially with our M&P 22s it can be difficult to see shot placement. My wife, in particular, could really use help in this area. We don't need a 10X hand-held for this sort of distance. Anyone out there have a suggestion?

Update: we're going to give this a try. Very inexpensive even on Amazon:Carson CloseUp 7x18mm Close-Focus Monocular (CF-718). More optical power than needed, but I don't believe holding it steady for the second or so will be any issue.
