M1 Carbine IJ AA33xxx

iver johnson #AA33xxx M1 Carbine.

Can anybody tell me about this rifles history & production date?
It seams to be USGI compatable judging from the charging handle.

I know its a reproduction (post War copy), but I'm thinking of picking it up for a light-weight shooter.
