I want to do some dry fire practice with my .45 colt SAA's, which snap caps do you all use and or recommend?

Take an empty case and punch the primer out and fill the pocket with silicone.

Some silicone (RTV's) would be a poor choice. Hot glue gun making sure to form a bead through the primer vent and then cut glue flush with head of case.
But there is nothing wrong with just leaving spent primer in case that is color marked for proper identification.

I like the metal A-zoom ones. They last forever, are reasonably inexpensive, and are all red so there is no confusing them with live ammo.
