Choke dimensions on a .410

I have a older Mossberg .410 bolt action that has a full choke.
I am thinking about shortening the barrel some to open up the pattern on it some.
Before I actually do it, does anyone know a ballpark figure on the dimension I should be looking for?
If I had that I could shorten the cut, shoot cut again process, and save a lot of targets to.

The Shotgun Book by the late Jack O'Connor lists the following regarding choking for the .410 bore shotgun. Data include (in order): boring, bore diameter, muzzle diameter, constriction, and percent at 25 yds. in 30-inch circle:

Full Choke, .410, .396, .014, 70
Modified, .410, .405, .005, 60
Imp. Cyl., .410, .408, .002, 50
Cylinder, .410, .410, None, 40

Willsjeep,
The usual method used to open up a choke is to ream the choke rather than shorten the barrel.

Sometimes I wonder how I get anything done, for some reason reaming never entered my mind, That is a good idea, I will try that instead. Thanks
