The most current and most complete defensive handgun book?
I am looking for a fairly recent and as far as possible complete book of defensive handgun techniques with a emphasis on techniques. I know new books have just rolled out on this in recent months and I do not want a rehash of the same old information. I get it the basics don't change but within reason Id like something that covers recent thinking.
Primarily my interest is for CCW / Home Defense. What would you recommend?

This is one of my favorites.....very good book in my opinion.
http://www.amazon.com/The-Digest-Boo.../dp/0896895254 you can buy it online, or I see it at a lot of gunshows from the "book guys" that sell new books at my bigger area gunshows. But all the bigger book retailers should have it as well. |

I have a copy of Combat Shooting by Massad Ayoob which is a fairly recent publication. The book covers a lot of good material, so it might be worth a look.
