Ideas Thread!!!
I thought it might be nice to start a thread about ideas that might make hunting a little easier!!!
I started hunting again after a 9 yr. break. The areas I am hunting are State Game Lands. No permanent treestands or motorized vehicles are permitted. After hunting there I had a brainstorm of combining a deer kart and a portable treestand! The following are pictures of the progress so far. This is not complete and changes will probably follow as this gets worked on. I just used a basic ladder (cut down) and went from there. I am hoping to get a good discussion going here!!! The pictures pretty much tell the tale.

Neat idea. You'll wanna come up with a good way to anchor the bottom (tent stakes?), as well as some kinda COMFORTABLE seating arrangment Also, something to keep the top tight to the tree. Bungee cords would work, but I'd go with "ratcheting tiedowns" (try Harbor Freight Tools) for a more secure method.

that looks like a good idea, im sure that with a few refinements such as a little hitch and some shoulder straps for pulling it along itll be a great unit
