Tactical Tailor Modular assault vest body

I've got a tactical tailor modular assault vest body on order, along with a couple packages of their plastic attaching clips to retrofit my ALICE pouches to it.

Anyone around here have any experience with MOLLE equipment in general and the MAV in particular?

What are you using this for? My unit has MOLLE and I like its versatility.

Get the Tac Tailor mag pouches

rather than use LC2 mag pouches with the MAV, use the purpose-designed TT mag pouches b/c you will have a problem with the height of the slot webbing on the back of the LC2 mag pouch compared to the webbing bars on the MAV body, the distance between bars is greater than the height of the ALICE slot on the LC2 mag pouch.

2nd potential issue is whether the MALICE clip can fit through the ALICE clip slot on the back of the LC2 pouch.

anyhow, the TT pouches work far better than any LC2 contrivance, and in the end will work out more efficiently.

You also may want to look at getting an X harness for the rig too

I plan on acquiring the TT pouches for it as time (and budget) allows, but for right now, their Small MALICE clips and my current alice pouches will have to do.

I'm planning on using it as chest webbing for carrying m1A magazines, mini-14 magazines (not at the same time) and equipment that goes with those rifles.

I like the idea of rifle webbing and a pistol belt, so i can ditch the rifle webbing and just wear the pistol belt, or wear shotgun webbing in place of the rifle stuff.
