Worth it to replace Winchester 120 barrel?
So I got a Winchester 120 20 gauge for a smooth $250 last week and just got back from the range with it. It definitely fires a smoothly and would be a great Dove gun.
I would like to replace the barrel on the Winchester 120 to a shorter 20 or or 18 inch one, but I have a bad feeling that most of the prices for one or to find one is gonna be hell. I rather not saw down the barrel 'bubba-style'. Should I pursue it or just plan to buy the Remington 870 I saw in the shop that has the 18 inch barrel I want? |

I think that barrel would cost almost as much as you paid for the gun unless you can luck out and find an old one you can cut down.
