SIG P226 - Not working
I have a DA/SA P226 that stop working last time at the range. In double action mode - the trigger cocks and releases the hammer, BUT the hammer does not fall forward enough to hit the firing pin.
When in single action mode - the trigger bar does not engage the sear (hammer does not fall) and the trigger bar moves freely. I took the gun apart to see if any parts were broken or missing, but everything "seems" to be OK. What could the problem be? thanks in advance.

Sounds like the trigger bar may be worn where it does not disengage the firing pin safety.
