unsealed cans of Reloader 22
Recently purchased several cans of Aliant Reloader 22. All of them were unsealed and the store would not refund my money. Has anyone else encountered this issue? I have tried call Aliant but cannot get thru.

Was the seal there but not sealed Or was it torn and or missing?
I have gotten some that were poorly sealed on one side. |

^ What he said.
I have also had cans that the seal stuck in the lid or was loose from the bottle. That doesn't mean someone else used some of it or it has been compromised, it could mean that someone was stingy on the press & seal adhesive used to glue the seal to the bottle or they themselves got defective seals from they're supplier when they bottled the powder. I've gotten two bottles of Hodgdon's Titegroup powder that had loose seals, if these are store bought I wouldn't worry to much about it. As long as the lid was tight and the seal is in there I wouldn't worry to much about it. If the seal was missing when you opened it, you need to take it back. |

I've opened Accurate and Hodgdon plastic powder bottles lately and the seal wasn't glued to the bottle and stayed in the cap. I would rather have a glued seal but knowing the seller and knowing they are recent manufacture I just do a visual check and load as usual.

Just went to pop the cap off my new Hodgdon BL-C(2) powder I just bought YESTERDAY....the seal stayed in the cap.
Poor seal glue. I watched them unbox this jug and put it in my hands.

NO retailer is going to accept a return on powder, even if sealed - let alone unsealed - the liability is too great.
If you bought it from a reputable retailer, then it is most likely a bad seal job on the production line as previously mentioned |
