Competition Shooting Cleaning Methods/Techniques

I was reading another forum about cleaning products and it made me think...

I am just trying to get into long range shooting possible F-Class competitions.
What cleaning methods, and supplies do you use? Are they any different than the standard methods of cleaning a basic hunting rifle?

I assume you clean everytime you shoot... Brass brush, solvent, dry patches, oiled patches, dry patches wipe down the rifle with silicon cloth. Does anything need lubed or oiled on a bolt action?

Thank you

I use Wipe Out foam for routine cleaning with an occasional brush and solvent scrubbing because the foam is pretty good but not up to their advertising.

You should lube the cocking cam on a bolt action and a target shooter of my acquaintance taught me to lube the locking lugs to prevent galling. An overall light coat of oil will help the bolt slide back and forth.
