Use of more than one pan with automatic measure dispensing unit.

It would seem to me if one had an automatic powder dispenser and wanted to use a pan other than the one that came with the dispenser (meaning the original pan did not have a funnel) that all I would need is two identical pans and calibrate or null to the new pans. Is there anything I am missing?

That would be about it. They would have to weigh exactly the same weight, otherwise the charges would be off. And if you zero without canceling the setting, you'll have powder come out when you hit the zero button.

Don't ask me how I know that last part. LOL

I use 2 RCBS funnel/pans with my chargemaster to speed things up.

One was .3gr heavier so i just sanded it down on the handle until it was the same

I use the RCBS Chargemaster with another type of pan, I start with the pan placed on the scale, turn the charger on hit zero, zeros with the pan in place & enter what ever charge I'm using. I find the chargemaster is very good & accurate powder measurer for me.

This would be the best method.
