Where to buy non-brass trigger guard for Remington New Army?

I have a stainless Euroarms Remington New Army revolver with the brass trigger guard. I would really like a nickel plated or stainless trigger guard instead. I've seen them in pictures but where can I buy one?

Anyone have any idea how much it would cost to get the brass one plated in silver instead?

You might want to investigate who around you does electroless nickle plating. That is usually realtively inexpensive.

Bright stainless.

Hello,

If you have bright the bright stainless finish, not the satin, you might try an auto shop. A well equipped body shop could hard-chrome the part for you, probably costing very little for something that small.

You might try a jeweler's also. Brass takes silver plating very well and should be a pretty close match for the stainless finish.

A great local option is to find yourself a gunsmith in your area who does finish repair/restoration. They could probably tell you the best route to go, or maybe even where to get your stainless replacement instead of modifying your current part.
