I did this search a few years ago and found none
It seems there is little new design work going on for DA/SA guns

Kahr CM9 is DAO-style and is about as slim, small and light as you're going to get in a small 9mm w/o major compromises in reliability, recoil, cost, controllability, etc.
I find the CM9 just a tad big for true pocket carry but YMMV. Tomac

I cant think of any DA/SA small
pocket type pistols. Plenty DAO's though. |

To the best of my knowledge there are only two DA/SA pocket pistols, both made by Beretta, but neither are 9mm. There's plenty of small DAO 9mm's out there but unless you have a huge pocket I wouldn't really call them pocket pistols. My Ruger LC9 is one of the smallest 9mm's out there and I have yet to find any pants I could comfortably pocket carry it in without looking like I'm carrying a brick in my pocket

CZ Rami is the smallest 9mm DA/SA that I can think of, but I would not call it a pocket pistol.
Neither Kahr or SCCY are DA/SA so I am not sure why they were even mentioned. |

That cs 9 looks great but at over 5 inches tall, I doubt anyone consistently pocket carries it. Tomcat is the closest to what you want, but I have heard of way to many frame cracks to recommend it.

The Rohrbaugh is DA only. Expensive. Awesome design and quality. However, mine would not go a magazine without a jam. I really wanted to like that gun. I bought it pretty lightly used, may try a new one again.
A walther PPK comes to mind if you can go to .380. |

If you go Tomcat, get the INOX version for the thicker slide. Carried one for years like an extra wallet in a DeSantis 'Trickster' holster, it was 100% w/FMJ (all I would carry/shoot in a .32).

I've been meaning to rant about my experience with pocket guns over the past 10 years... I've yet to find one that's reliable.
The P232 and PPK are reliable, but not really "pocket." Oh, and there's no such thing as a pocket 9mm, unless you're Shaq. |

Re: What DA/SA pocket pistols are there?
My 290rs has been flawless through 500 or so rounds. I am a baggy pants guy, and it does the pocket thing fairly well.

It really sucks that most companies are going away from the all steel DA/SA in any size let alone pocket pistols. I was looking for a a small all steel DA/SA pistol in 9mm and the closest I could find to what I wanted besides a Makarov was the Sig 232 which is my current carry gun. Damn do I love that pistol, I even plan on picking up another one at some point. I shoot it as well as a full size pistol and it's actually fun to ring still with at the range compared to other pistols of it's size.

Some of you need to read up on what DA/SA is. Hint: it's not DAO.
Anyway, I think all the options have been mentioned. Basically, there aren't any in 9mm. I think the Sig P239 might be the closest, but it isn't a pocket gun. |

Walther PPK or PPK/S, both in 9MM Kurz (9MM short aka .380 ACP).
I carry one every day. |

Detonics Pocket 9. As far as I know, that's the only 9mm DA/SA made that can fit in a pocket. Mine works, others have reported some issues.

That CZ Rami, That is about the size of a baby Glock, right? So possible in big pockets (but kinda chunky)? Also in that category is the HK P2000SK with the flat magazine baseplates. For some really stupid reason they don't come that way.
So can anyone expound on the CZ Rami? Good gun? In 9 and 40, does the 40 have a lot of recoil? I consider the G27 heavy, HK P2000SK not bad at all in 40. |

I never found a reason to want a pocket sized DA/SA pistol. Pick one or the other and master only one trigger. I carried a snubby for 20 , now a cm9.
