O ring for 1100

Hi guys,

I live in Bolivia and there are no O rings specific made for the 1100 so I need the size, thickness and diameter info, to buy it from an ordinary O ring company. I just bought the shotgun and the o ring was missing.

By the way it´s a 12gauge

Thanks in advance

You need a Viton #021 ring. It is 15/16 inches inside diameter, 1 1/16 inches outside diameter (and 1/16 inch thick, of course!). Viton will withstand the heat of combustion gases.

If you must use a neoprene ring from a hardware store, etc., you need a #33. The Viton is much to be preferred, however. The neoprene won't last very long.

Good luck with your shotgun!

Amazing

It seems incredible that a guy in Bolivia can ask a specialized question about a firearm and have it answered within a few hours by a guy in South Carolina. Congratulations to all and ain't the internet great!
