Stupid Lube Question

Okay, I'm giving lead bullets a second chance after a bad experience with some commercial ammunition. Here's the question, just don't laugh too hard: My bullets came with a lube in the grooves (it's red). Do I need to add more on the whole thing, load as is, or what?

See, stupid isn't it?

No, one lube should be enough. Lube color is unimportant but lube quality does vary by formula. My personal favorites are ALOX lubes (50% ALOX, 50% beeswax). This type lube is somewhat soft but does a superior job in preventing leading and enhancing accuracy. Other lubes are good also and each cast bullet supplier seems to have his/her own favorite, often stained different for marketing/product identification purposes.

...And if there WAS such a thing as a stupid question, it'd be easier to handle than a stupid mistake, anyhow.

(Well, OK, the question where the questioner won't listen to yr answer, and then decides on their own interpretation, is kinda stupid, but that's really the asker, not the question!)

"...need to add more..." Nope. Just load 'em.
As daft as it sounds, keeping lubed cast bullets in your refrigerator will help keep the lube off your fingers. And when somebody asks why you have bullets in your frig, tell 'em it keeps 'em fresh. Best said with a straight face if you can.
