Gun Belts

What are you guys using for belts, I measure the loops on typical jeans and found they'll take a 2" belt tightly fitted in the loops. I like the type that is 1 3/4" or 2" but tapers to 1" in the buckle section.

Will be carrying a 1911 in a paddle and want great support from the belt but the low profile of the tapered buckle area, any suggestions for under $75. Don't need anything fancy like basket weaves or shark skin, just something stout and tough.

You have to look no farther then this. Rafter's S makes great belts. They are strong and do not sag with your gun on them. Check them out. You can spend as much as you want to. Be careful of the measurement (length).

I believe you are talking about the Ranger belts. Cabela's sells them. But, you can't go wrong with Rafter's.

I recommend them often as I wear them. Belts are kind of thick to hang a cell phone on. I have never heard anyone on the forums dissatisfied with one of their belts and the prices are very very competitive for custom belts.
