ebay scope question

So basically Im finally caught up on my bills and Im looking around on ebay for a scope. I dont really need one but Im just looking to see what they have. I dont want to buy one but I do. I bid on one, got up in it and in the in end I "won". I havn't gotten it in the mail yet but I cant find anyting about this particular model on the web and was hoping you guys could help me. I know its too late but to ask "is this good" what the hey, I consider it my Christmas present to myself and Im curious about it,

I don't have any info on that scope, but I will say that it looks authentic. I say this because there have been fakes on egay.

It is an old steel-tube Weaver 3-9X variable, built in USA. Probably 30 years old or so. Good scope at the time, you didn't get hurt. Only word of caution: they zoom by turning the whole ocular piece, so POI can vary as you zoom.

Hmmm, 3-9. Thats cool I had thougt it was just a 9x and wondered what I would use it for Bet it would look pretty spiffy on my AR.

I cant find anything on the Medalist series, I wonder if it means its high tier or low tier?
