Help

Yesterday I reloaded some 6.5x55 bullets for my swedish mauser sportizered by Kember. I ran them through the sizing die and deprimed them, then I trimed the case within tollorence, weighed the powder, put it in the case and seated the bullet. The overall length is within tolorence. Now I find out that I cant load it in my rifle. The bolt will not quite go in far enough to lower the bolt. The primer is seated good. H--e---l----p

Did you full lenght size your brass? And was your brass new when first fired? If the brass was fired in another gun and you did not full lenght size you may have a headspace issue.

come to think of it. I have a swedish mauser target rifle that these shells were probably fired in.
