Steel Target source?
I'm looking for a particular variety of commercially-made steel target.
It looks like an upper torso and head in shape, is approximately life-size or a bit smaller, and has a large circular hole in the center of the "chest", about 8" in diameter, behind which hole is hung a steel plate, such that hits to the plate (inside the circle) "ring" and also cause the plate to move or swing back just a bit. It sits on a stand or upright so as to bring the target to 4-5 ft above ground. It's useful for assessing ability to reliably and repeatedly make close-range "hits" without having to repeatedly reset or change anything. Anyone know of a source? I've seen these but can't locate one.

Personally I don't know, but just doing a basic Google search came up with this. One in particular sounds like what you're looking for.

You may try http://metaltargets.com
They may not stock exactly what your looking for, but, I bet they could build it for you. I ordered some targets from them and I am very pleased with them. L.P. |
