George,I have a colt delta with a 10mm bbl and a 40 s&w bbl.The specific info I need is whether or not the removal of the series 80 parts in the frame[two levers] is all that is necessary to use a series 70 top end.Brownells sells a plate that goes into the frame to replace the two levers.I am not worried about any political or legal ramifications, this frame is to be used for a range gun only.I'm just inquiring as to the mechanical feaseabitity only. Thanks. ------------------ |

You will also need to remove the plunger and its spring from the slide.
(Whoops! I should read the WHOLE message. The Series 70 slide you propose to use doesn't have any plunger or spring...sorry). Rosco [This message has been edited by Rosco Benson (edited August 20, 1999).] |

Harold you've got it right. The wedge from Brownells is all you need to add. George
