.22 conversion kit

I have the Colt .22 conversion kit that came with my AR. Am wondering if this will work on FA with an M16. Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

Good question. Depends if the bolt can trip the auto-sear. You'll have to compare the tail of the bolt with that of the M-16 bolt. If the tail (bottom portion) is cut short or missing, then there's nothing to trip the auto-sear lever.
