.308 suppressor threading?
Is the most popular threading for .308 cans 5/8x24? I am thinking of threading my PSS barrel and saving for a can. But want to know what most cans are threaded for?

IIRC the pitch you mentioned is the standard thread for that caliber. Zak Smith should be along directly to either back me up or correct me.

308 in USA = 5/8x24
Alternatives from the UK and Europe include M18x1.0 (SAKO, Blaser) and M18x1.5 (Accuracy international). -z

What about 9/16x24? Is that common?

I think FALs are 9/16x24 LH, and some pistol barrels are 9/16x24 RH.

SR420, what kind of can do you have that attaches to the Vortex? I have the Vortex on several of my ARs and wouldnt mind getting a can for them, it would be great to be able to have it fit right on the Vortex flash suppressors already on them.

It's a Smith Enterprise, Inc. sound suppressor made and sold to civilians by Fisher Enterprise, Inc.
The .30 caliber can will work on .223 as long as you have a DC Vortex. Contact Mr. David Fisher directly at 602 615-7777 or via email at [email protected].
