Lee Perfect Powder Measure

Just thought I would share my results with using this powder measure. Prepping my match loads and weighed 50 charges of Varget on my Gem Pro 250 scale that is calibrated and good to go. My charge weight is 44.2 gr. My findings are that out of 50 charges thrown, my average weight thrown was 44.17 gr, my ES was 0.55 and my SD was 0.15.

Not too bad for a powder thrower with it's price tag.

Nice, your ES is less than the +/- .3 grains where an OCW load can shine.

I've had good luck with the Lee PPM as well, even with IMR4064.

I concur. The PPM is certainly usable. I especially like the chart and powder densities they give. That is really handy in getting to your desired load. I have found the charts to be very accurate in predicting the volume setting required for a given charge, and steps upward.

I've had one since the '90s, but admit that I've never used it for rifle loads. It's my measure for pistol powders, but I've been very happy with it.

Use mine for pistol too. I've been very pleased with it.

Only issue I've had is it leaks AA-7 like a sieve. Haven't
been able to get it to stop. Don't use a lot of it though
so it isn't a big problem.

I bought one when I got my Loadsmasher. It works well enough. At $45ish for the powder measure and charge die, it wasn't too bad since I wanted to keep my Uniflow by its self for if I want to do single stage stuff on the Rockchucker.

The only complaint I have is how it likes to pee powder all over the press. I'll stop, tune it back up, and go again. Half an hour later I'm back to using words best kept in private. Charge weights are consistent, it's just the granule or two of powder that seeps out adds up after a while. Kind of like my Jeep, it leaks enough to be a constant annoyance but not an actual problem.
