Need a Scope, Any Suggestions??

I am ordering a Ruger Compact Rifle in .223. It has the stainless steel, 16.5" barrel.

I will use it for a truck gun. Mainly shooting coyotes and jackrabbits. No big game, no long-range shots.

Obviously, I want the scope to be silver to match the gun.

Any suggestions??

Two very good scopes in the $200 to $250 range in silver come to mind.
First would be a Burris Compact series in 3X9X32. The second would be a Nikon Buckmaster 3X9X40. Both are well made, have excellent optics and offer lifetime warranty.
Take Care

I'd get a Leupold Var III in 2.5 X 8, or 4.5 X 14, depending on what's more important, fast handling or precision. I like their 2.5 X 8. They're both short scopes and would look good on your compact rifle. If you ever get another rifle, you'll always a good scope you can swap it on, and it's backed by the lifetime warranty. I think alot of manufacturer's offer a lifetime warranty, but some of them you have to send the product back more frequently. Leupold's are tough as nails.
