I wondered if he had to quit the forum because of the show.

Back to the OP, Same question. Is this a stainless receiver or is there something else that will keep that shiny receiver from rusting? |

Ken is the OP... the thread is from 2009.
He said the gun is a Winchester 21.

Wonderful. Another zombie thread ressurected by a newbie. I sure wish Admins would find a way to prevent this.

The only way to do that would be to have threads auto-lock after a certain time period. This has problems of it's own and has been discussed before. In this case, there was an actual question asked by the person who resurrected the thread. In any case, it's not all that frequent of a problem, and not a terribly big one even then.
Here's the discussion on it: http://thefiringline.com/forums/showthread.php?t=419459

Doyle - the thread wasn't resurrected by a "newbie". He has been a member here exactly one day longer than you have.
In truth, we have no problem with members resurrecting threads like this one. It's good for the other members who haven't seen it to have a look at the work done. |

To me, 24 posts = Newbie even if the join date was years ago.

So, is anybody actually going to discuss the gun in question, or what? The clock is ticking on this one...

Outstanding. This is the kind of work some long-ago Maharajah of Mysore would have put on his favorite tiger double rifles. Just not done, anymore.

Normally I couldn't care less about engraved firearms. They're just not my thing. But...this one is beyond reproach.
