2 old colt revolvers?

My buddy has 2 old colt revolvers and wonders when they were made. they both have plastic grips and are single action. one is a 38WCF s/n 311004 and the other looks like a bisley design, 45 colt, s/n 252656. Any help is appreciated, Thanks, Richard. Also a guesstimate of the value of them. Both have petina inside barrell and out side of gun but actions work and are smooth and lock up tight.

We need more info. Colt made a number of revolvers in those calibers.

Photos, or at least the model name stamped on the barrel of the double action would help.
The Bisley design is either a Bisley single action or it isn't.
