How do you remove a rear sight?
Im am attempting to re-blue a Marlin 30-30 lever action, I dont want to get into extreme depth of taking the barrel off the receiver. But how do I take the rear sight off? and does it come off?

Using a brass punch you can tap it out from left to right [that's looking from the buttstock end of the gun] when you re-install tap in from right to left.
