Which grade Loctite for scope mount?
Hi,
I have a mini-14 ranch and have a Weigand ("Weaver style"?)scope base installed with a Tasco Propoint red dot sight on top. I would like to better secure the scope rings to the mount. Which grade Loctite would you use for this task? Blue? Red? Black? The only type I have right now is "QuickTite" by Loctite and it's blue. Thanks! TCW |

I'd use the blue, anything stronger and you may have a real problem at removal time. I've never had one come loose with blue Locktite, why go crazy?
