Attachments in new windows

How about setting attachment links to automatically open in new windows? This would be consistent with most (all?) other links that appear in posts. Especially useful for threads with both high graphics content and attachments, to keep from having to reload the whole thread after viewing an attachment.

PS- I'm a chronic right-clicker anyway, but with most other TFL links opening in new windows, I fall into left-click mode and get ambushed by the attachments.

Ditto. I usually right-click to open forums, links, etc. in a new window, but sometimes the attachments get left-clicked and I find myself closing the window and losing my place in a thread. However, be aware that this may not be fixable by TFL since it may not be an option for us. We only lease the vB software and hacks to it to fix relatively minor problems are not advisable.
