About 4 years ago, a well-meaning relative gave one to me at Christmas. It sat unused for a couple of years until I purchased a Savage BTVSS. Mounted the scope and have never looked back. It is what it is, but it sure works for me. As a matter of fact, last year I purchased another Savage (TR) and mounted another Centerpoint. Two of my favorite .22 to shoot and I have not had any problems with the scopes. Don't know if I would mount on anything stronger, but for a .22 they work.

They work just fine in my experience.
I bought one of the CP Tactical Red-dots at Walmart for $30 and zero'd it on my 10/22. I have mounted it on my 5.56AR15, 300Blackout AR15 (7.62x35), and AK47 Pistol and it still holds zero. As a cheap RDS I'm very satisfied with it. For reference my AK47 pistol (Draco 7.62x39) has a very powerful recoil and the RDS has not lost its zero. |

One of my hunting buddies swears by them.
