Is it possible to moly a barrel instead of a bullet?

Hi, having read alot about moly in the last week or two I desided to pick up a small aerosol can of it. It's from Brichwood/Casey and it called "Moly Lube" for those of you who have heard of it.

So, having 4 calibers, and only one that I reload for, could I put moly on a cleaning patch and run it through the barrel of my gun? Also, how long does this stuff last, I.E. how often would I have to reapply?

And is thier anything I would need to do to my barrels other than clean them out and let them dry before I apply moly?

Your barrel must be absolutely clean of all powder & copper fouling before applying moly to it! You can apply moly to the bullets of loaded rounds; Ms Moly supplies perforated foam plastic pads for this purpose. You stand the cartridges up and slide the pad down over the case neck and then spray the bullet. go to www.msmoly.com for more info.
