Curious about pre94 guns.

I remember Rose's sold huge numbers of Russian and Chinese sks's, Chinese Mak90s, and 91s. Also I remember customers buying dolly's full of sks and mak90s at gun shows.

What happened to all of these guns?

They seemed to have just disappeared off the market never to be seen again.

What about ammunition. Huge amounts were sold during this time period as well. Chinese manufacture. I am sure a lot of it was used up but certianly not most of it.

They're in closets somewhere. I've bought a few guns in the last several years that I'm convinced were estate sale guns. Granpaw died and the kids didn't know what to do with the gun so they put it on the market. That's sad, but I was able to get some really nice examples. Two of them still had closet dust in the bore.

Yeah, it's really sad - I've seen Grandkids sell rare and/or expensive guns for the pittance needed to get an X-Box or a few new video games..............

You see some of those turned in at the "buy back" programs by stupid sheets who don't want Granpa's nasty old guns in the house.
