Christmas Mosin

My wife gave me a Izhevsk 1927 hex receiver Mosin Nagant for Christmas. It did not come with a cleaning rod, and I was wondering if anyone could point me to a good place to pick one up.

Merry X-mas!

Cleaning rods are easy to find. I'll bet J&G Sales would have them. I haven't been able to get to thier website in a few days though.

By the way, where did you find your wife and are there any like her left?

Me too!

Me too.

My wife bought me a Mosin Nagant... and a spam can of ammo for Christmas.

The thing kicks like a mule though!

I am ordering one of these butt pads from here.....

And I notice they have a cleaning rod for $19.99!!!

My rifle only cost $69.95 and the cleaning rod is $20 of that price?

seems be be a popular gift this year.. I also got a Mosin Nagant 91/30 for Christmas but from my father
He found a original in great shape at a gun show I think he for it for $100, came with all the little extras.
I've just shot it about a dozen times so far though. I think I need to do some more cleaning on it. The bolt action of reloading isn't the most reliable right now.

Kinda would like to get a Russian PU scope like what was originally used. I loved Enemy at the Gates. Maybe a Monte Carlo stock too
