New Glock 30S

I have never purchased a Glock before. This new Glock 30S may be the first one that I do buy.

10 + 1 45 ACP round capacity. Slim Glock 36 slide on a 30SF frame. Easily concealeable. Allegedly made by Glock for the LAPDs SIS, at their request, to replace their Kimbers.

I'm waiting on my dealer to get one in. If it fits my hand and has a half way decent trigger, its coming home with me.

Anyone here have one? Anyone here shot one? Regards 18DAI

The 30S is a good design, but pretty much just Glock doing what Glock owners have been doing for ages. Now it's an official part of the line instead of a Frankenpistol

It completely baffles me that they didn't go with a single stack, given how well those are selling, even to police as BUGs

I have been kind of looking for one in the local shops, but haven’t seen one in person. I considered the G30 and felt it was a little “fat”, so the G30S might hit the sweet spot. Please provide a review and pictures when you get the gun.

I have one. Nothing wrong with it at all. Reliable and accurate.

As in the .45 ACP single-stack Glock 36?

Brain fart moment, I meant a 9/40 in the vein of the Shield.
