Firing pin, will it fit?
I have a very old Savage 6B 22LR rifle which was my Dads. While shooting it last weekend with my Nephew, the tip of the firing pin broke off. It's exactly the same as a Springfield Stevens model 87. I've been looking for a replacement firing pin and have come across one from a Springfield Stevens Model 187. Does anyone know if it will fit?
Thanks E.

Don't know if it will fit, but if it doesn't, look into these folks. They were able to help me with my Savage/Anshutz M141 when I needed some very hard to find magazines.

Firing pin for your 6B http://www.gunpartscorp.com/catalog/...aspx?catid=744
I don't think the 87 and 187 use the same part, the schematics appear to be different (but I may be mistaken, I don't have both in hand)
