Inexpensive mod for your shotgun
I purchased a used Model 870 looks like it may have been a police gun. My eyes aint what they used to be so for $5.00 I found a pretty good mod for the shotgun. its 8.50 on the website but I found mine at a local store for $4.82 plus tax.
Made by HiViz the Spark 2 sight Really glows in the light $8.50 if you dont have any thread lock laying around. Beats the heck outta the brass bead http://www.northpass.com/content/cat...category_1.asp

two other mods I am looking at
Modified Magna Port for the 870 in case I decide to add a barell extension and for $50 I can get the forcing cone modified so its a smoother transition for about $60.00 I know vang does this stuff but I dont want to tie up several hundred dollars in a nice used 870 I bought for $149.00. not to mention the $40.00 for the synthetic stocks from a fellow forum member Bosshoff which saved me a few bucks. so I can start some 3 gun competition.

Just how much are you spending on ammo? Go shoot it. After a few thousand rounds, you'll have a better idea of what it "Needs"....
