Learn about the tactical problems and state-of-the-art solutions associated with close quarter lethal encounters. This dynamic two-day course will teach you how to defend yourself and others against threats of lethal force from contact distance out to 21 feet……where most deadly force encounters occur. Day one will focus on close range handgun skills and techniques. Day two will address CQB applications with the shotgun and other methods for using this weapon system in close quarters. Tactics and topics presented will include principles of close quarters battle, close tactical shooting techniques, critical movement and positioning concepts, weapon retention methods, grappling range engagement techniques, how to defeat multiple aggressors in close, fighting with firearms from the ground up, handgun and long-gun alternative force, unconventional close range engagement from seated and ground positions, room entry and clearing techniques, dynamic and deliberate indoor CQB scenarios, and the keys to dominating close range confrontations.
