what's your pet load in 338 win mag.

I'm going to start using 225gr Barnes TSX projectiles in my 338 win mag and I'm looking for some pet loads that I should try.

I'm also interested to hear what bullets you guys are using in your 338's. Thanks

Have yet to try Barnes. I like Nosler 200 Accubond over 73 grains of IMR 4350 (2,964 avg) and 250 Sierra Gameking over 71.2 grains of Re 19 (2,700 avg). Both max loads. Shooting a Savage 116 with a 24" barrel.

I hear alot of people using the accubond and not the partition. How does the Accubond go on larger game?

I'm trying 200 gr. Speer Deep Curls in my #1, I've found a few decent loads with RL 19 and W760 but this project isn't done yet.

I've tried the Accubonds... they're ok but pricier than the Speers.
