Will polishing parts remove hardness?
Will polishing and stoning internal parts of a revolver, to smooth the action, ruin the hardening of the metal? What about the effect on mim parts ?

That depends on the depth of the hardness, if case harden. Generaly no, if your just knocking off the bur's.

Going too deep will. Then wear will accelerate.
