I live in Tennessee and was wandering if MP5's are illegal in TN. I want a real HK MP5 not a copy or look-alike. I was hoping i could buy the MP5K or the
MP5/10.Does anybody know. Thanks.

The only way a non-LEO or SOT is getting a real one is getting a pre-68 one. How many pre-68 MP5s are there in the registry? A few?

You are likely getting a sear gun unless you want to become an SOT.
