Just started hanging around on TFL, and thought this would make as good a first post as any:

Took way too long, if you ask me, and it's still not a full pardon. I guess it's better than nothing, though.

At least they are finally out of prison for using their rifles in protection of our borders.

They shot someone in the back and tried to cover it up. If that's how you protect our borders, well it's ok then.

I'm happy these two men will soon go free however it should have been a
full pardon with the ability to return to their jobs with full back pay.

Sorry, this is not about a law or about civil rights... Regardless of how you feel about these two guys. Add to this, that pardons and commutations are completely political in nature.
