Trying to find out where I can find a scope like this. Never seen one before but really like it. Thanks all.

When I make a list of what I consider to be the most useless guns the lever pistols will be right up there.

The gun in the photo looks to have a painted finish? Is it a toy? Do the new "Ranch Hand" guns look like that? Is that somebody's homemade attempt to go to prison?

Looks like a big bore rifle case, 45-70?

It's a prop. The butt of the pistol to the left looked familiar. Then I found this very pic on the imfdb page for Serenity. That's the Firefly movie for the unitiated.

Linky. Scroll on down to the Mare's Leg.

Ahead of or behind the Judge / Governor? I suppose the lever pistols have their place if you are a big Wanted Dead or Alive fan. There are too many other guns I want instead. $.02.

Yup. The 410/45 monstrosities vie for top dog honors.

I love it when I hear about how useless and stupid the gun like the Ranch Hand is. I guess the only guns we should own are guns for self defense (Glocks) or long range sniping rifles.
Anyone here ever have fun with a firearm. I find it amazing how many people I have gone out shooting with that when they saw the gun for the first time went “Why did you buy that stupid gun?”
Their attitude changes when they shoot it. Smiles abound!
It is a totally ussless but VERY FUN GUN TO SHOOT. I have a Rossi and the fit and finish is very nice also the guys at Gunblast think highly of it.
That brass “scope” is not a 45/70 case, too big and rim is too big but it sure looks home made.

Truthfully, the real main use for my guns is the fun of shooting. If it came down to practicality I probably wouldn't have but one gun. If you like your Ranch Hand enjoy it. I enjoy my choice of guns.
