Reduced Recoil Buckshot and Semi-Auto Shotguns
How do reduced recoil or "tactical" shotshells perform in semi-auto shotguns - both gas-operated like Remingtons or recoil-operated Benellis and Berettas?
Do they feed and cycle 100% in most cases? Skorzeny

Well, I've put about 150 rounds of Federal Reduced Recoil 00 Buck
through my Benelli M1 Super 90. The gun hadn't been fired too much when I got it so it took some CLP to get it to run well on the first range session. The bolt wasn't going back far enough to pick up the new shell until the bolt was well lubricated. Since then it has performed well with only light lubrication. M. Kruger |

11-87P...No Problem
I've used the Federal Reduced Load in an 11-87P with good results. I had no problems, even though Remington recommends that only full power loads be used in their shotguns.
Hope this helps. traintrackkker |

I've tried all of the Tac buckshot and slugs that I could get my hands on in both of my 1100s without a problem.
